Job Description:
12+ Month Contract
Support the assembly of the M10 Booker (MPF) prototype builds and verification.
The responsibilities and specific tasks for this position include:
Keep the team lead informed on prototype build and verification status.
Monitor the Engineering Bill Of Materials maturity and Engineering Release Plan execution.
Utilize and update the prototype build BOM.
Write MRs for all material required.
Track material receipts and address late to need issues.
Status of assembly and fabrication build plans.
Quickly disposition obsolete parts as directed by USG.
Develop and foster a cohesive build team environment between prototype shop mechanics, sub system engineers, and system engineers.
Act as primary interface between sub-system engineering and the prototype build shop responsible for vehicle level system integration, verification, and problem reporting/resolution.
Generate Engineering Problem Reports to document fabrication, installation, and/or functionality issues discovered during the prototype build.
Overtime and some second shift work will be required.
BS Engineering Degree required
Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
