- Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLC
- Ability to develop code from scratch
Job Description:
- Our client is an Automation Integrator working to incorporate robotics and automation technology for their clients across industries.
- They require a skilled Controls Engineer with experience in full design lifecycles for automation systems.
- This role will work on multiple development projects in various stages of the design lifecycle, from concept design thru construction, build out, FAT, and Commissioning. "Blank slate" coding as well as modification of existing code will be required.
- Head's down coding, but also much of the work will involve hands on interaction with Engineering,
- Design, and Production personnel to work thru mechanical and electrical design challenges on the floor.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Provide Controls expertise and guidance during equipment design, software design, build, debug, qualification and improvement phases of a project.
- Write original Allen Bradley code and modify existing code as required
- Experience with Ignition is desired
- Experience with Fanuc/ABB Robotics or Vison systems a plus
- Work with different disciplines to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical vs mechanical issues.
